According to investigators, the fatal collision occurred shortly before 10 p.m. on June 2, 2026, at the intersection of 21st Avenue North and Tyrone Boulevard North in St. Petersburg. Authorities reported that a Ford F-150 pickup truck traveling eastbound on 21st Avenue North attempted to make a left turn onto Tyrone Boulevard North when it entered the path of an oncoming motorcycle operated by Xavier Joshua Strunk. The motorcycle collided with the truck, resulting in severe injuries.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported Strunk to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital for treatment. Despite lifesaving efforts by medical personnel, he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities subsequently identified him as a resident of Pinellas Park.
